Embroidered Treasures by Claire Garland – Book Review
Embroidered Treasures by Claire Garland is a charming project book filled with sewing ideas for babies and children. Claire is quite a prolific writer with predominately kitting and crochet patterns to her credit. A full list of her books is available here.
The book itself is broken down into five different chapters with twenty-two projects in total to choose from. Each chapter covers a different theme from ‘comfort and calm’ projects for babies, to ‘adventurous spirits’ for toddlers and older, I particularly liked the sailor in this chapter to ‘vintage charm’ and finally ‘techniques and stitches’, a how to guide to everything you need to know to complete all of the projects.
A great addition to any craft library with easy to follow projects and great inspiration points for starting something new your self.
