Eyes: 2 x 2” x 2“ (5 cm x 5 cm) white felt. 2 x 1” x 1” (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm) Black felt for the pupil • Nose: 2” x 2” (5 cm x 5 cm) Black felt
Wing: 5” x 5“ (13 cm x 13 cm), contrasting piece of felt to the main cotton body
Stripe 1: 1⁄2” wide x 3” long (1.5 cm x 8 cm), contrasting piece of felt to the main cotton body
Stripe 2: 1⁄2” wide x 4” long (1.5 cm x 10 cm), contrasting piece of felt to the main cotton body
Stripe 3: 1⁄2” wide x 5” long (1.5 cm x 13 cm), contrasting piece of felt to the main cotton body
Polyester stuffing to fill the owl
Matching polyester machine thread
Tacking thread (optional)
TOOLS:
Printer and paper to print out your A4 pattern (access to photocopier for the A3 pattern)
Fabric & paper scissors, small scissors for trimming and snipping into joints and a pinking shears
for cutting the owl stripes.
