Satin Stitch

Decorative filler stitch for doll & softie faces.

Satin Stitch Instructions:

Starting with a knot in your thread pull your needle through from the back to the front of the fabric. Starting at the corner point of your pattern area you are filling.

Make sure the thread is secure in the fabric.

The lines of sewing should lie parallel to each other as the area is filled with embroidery thread.

The tension of the threads lying next to each is important here for a smooth finish to the fill and to maintain the shape.
