Small Fairy House Free Pattern and Tutorial
Materials:
- Complimentary felt pieces large enough for each pattern piece
- Small buttons various sizes, samples in this project 2 flower buttons, 1 rabbit button & 1 pink button
- Complimentary embroidery thread/floss
- Polyester craft filler

- Paper & fabric scissors
- Pins
- Sewing needle
How to Make:
Download and print pattern on an A4 sheet at 100% click here
Cut out the paper pattern pieces with the paper scissors.
Pin each pattern to the felt pieces, 1 x window, 1 x door, 1 x roof and 2 x house.
Cut out each of the felt pieces.
Using the paper house pattern as a guide place the door, window and roof in position.
Starting with the door, back stitch into position using 3 strands of matching embroidery thread/floss.
Back stitch the window and roof into position, using 3 strands of complimentary embroidery thread/floss. Back stitch a cross inside the window.
Sew the buttons in place as shown in the image above.
Using a long stitch and 3 strands of green embroidery thread/floss sew in the stem and leaf detail of the flowers, using the buttons as the flower heads.
Sew the bunny button in place.
Place the front and the back of the house together and line up the edges.
Whip stitch the sides and roof of the house together using 3 strands of matching embroidery floss.
Whip stitch along the base of the house, leaving the two triangular areas un-sewn.
Pinch together one of the triangular corners and line up, matching the side and base of the house together. Whip stitch closed.
Stuff the fairy house with the craft filler.
Whip stitch the final side of the house closed.
