My crafty read for this week is Sewlicious by Kate Haxell. Even though I have a library full of craft books, I just couldn’t resist this one, the cover is stunning and just popped out at me when it was sitting on the shelf. Kate is an experienced craft editor and author with numerous craft books to her credit, click here for the list. The reason I was really taken with this book is because it covered a good variety of items to make with pattern templates at the back. 35 projects in total, from a really cute doll, to bang on trend collars, really cute music festival inspired wrap with pocket, a handy needle book, tote bag, even a feline inspired ‘Cat in a Jumper’ as opposed to ‘hat’ doorstop. That one I will definitely be making 🙂 Sewlicious by Kate Haxell The instructions are easy to follow with a detailed list of what you will need for each project. Projects are displayed in really cute images and equally cute words ‘Groovalicious’, being one of my favourites. Sewlicious by Kate Haxell Retro chic, practical, informative and just down right cute, this book is a great addition to any sewing library. Available to buy online here. Sewlicious by Kate Haxell
