Cutting a pattern
SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Finished size: 8.5 inches / 21.5 cm tall
MATERIALS:
A fat quarter of cotton fabric (22″ x 22″ / 56cm x 56cm)
1 Ball of Yarn, colour to compliment the fat quarter (pony tail and mane)
4 buttons with 2 holes Approx size 3/4” / 2 cm
15” / 38cms x 1/2” / 1cm of ribbon to make a bow for the pony tail and to attach the mane.
Embroidery thread/floss contrasting colour to the fat quarter (pony eyes and nose)
Polyester machine thread to match the colour of fabric you have chosen
Contrasting sewing thread for tacking/basting
Polyester stuffing to fill the pony.
TOOLS:
Printer and paper to print out your A4 pattern
A piece of card measuring 5” x 3” / 12.5 x 7.5
Fabric & paper scissors also small scissors for trimming and snipping into joints

Tailor chalk pencil or fabric marker
Sewing needle, embroidery needle with a large eye
Doll sculpting needle, (large doll making needle)
Sewing machine
Chopstick as tool for turning and stuffing the pony
