I have alway thought that Easter Decoration eggs are very cute, but I only recently actually got around to making some, this was thanks to a great blog post I came across featuring No Sew Patchwork Easter Eggs by Pillar Box Blue, Click Here to visit the tutorial.
Pulling out my collection of adhesive fabric I have been collecting, and armed with inspiration from the tutorial I made a few of my own, in no time at all.
I created mine slightly differently using the following materials & tools:
Polystyrene eggs shapes
Adhesive sheets of fabric
Ribbons, ric rac & bows
Finally a glue gun.
How to make:
Cut up the adhesive material into strips, I used one colour per egg, but you can mix and match if you want to.
Peel off the backing from the material and place lengthways on the polystyrene egg, running from top to bottom. Cover the whole egg.
Taking a mixture of the bows, ribbon and ric rac finish off the eggs as you choose.
I used the glue gun to attach bows to the top of the eggs, ribbon around the centre and ric ric running from top to bottom.
Customise each egg as desired, but most of all have fun 🙂
