Sew a Softie It’s Today

So officially today is the day, Sew a Softie Day. Over the past two weeks 20 plus softie sewing patterns and tutorials have been posted over on the Sew a Softie Facebook group, by talented sewers from all around the world, and they are all just amazing. I am so pleased to have been involved with such a great idea and with an incredible bunch of talented makers.

But really Sew a Softie day is all about the new sewer, young and old. Last weekend I ran Moley Monster softie making workshops, and we all made a small Moley Monster each.

The pattern and tutorial is available here if you want to try one yourself.

Then Darragh, sewed his own larger Moley Monster at home and sent me in this great pic. Aren’t they are just wonderful? He named them ‘Crazy Nuts Senior’ and Crazy Nuts Junior’.

Well done Darragh and his Mum 🙂

So please do join in, there are loads of ideas over on the Facebook group. I have a catalogue of free Hand Sewing patterns and tutorials here. If you post a picture of your creation onto Instagram and add #sasday2016 you could pick up a gift of some crafty goodies.
